Arseniy Yatseniuk, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, believes that the two-party system has no prospects in Ukraine.
According to the speech of Arseniy Yatseniuk delivered at the press conference held on Wednesday in Vinnytsia region, he objects to the legislative establishment of the so-called "preventive barrier" at the rate of ten per cent, as "it will render no possibility to the new political parties and current political forces to overcome such a barrier".
"This is by no means a European principle. The election barrier can not exceed 5 per cent due to the European standards", - underscored A.Yatseniuk.
He is convinced that the elections should be held with open party lists provided, so that "every Ukrainian should not for whom he votes".
